On 14th June, 2016 representatives of Warter Polymers Sp. z o. o. had the pleasure to participate in Science and Business Forum of ITB. The meeting concerned works carried out by Technical Committee no. 142 for Geosynthetics, Technical Committee no. 214 for Bituminous and Polymer Products for Waterproofing in the Construction Sector and Sector Group SG11 “Membranes and geotextiles”. The conference was attended by representatives of the above-mentioned Commitees, employees of Instytut Techniki Budowlanej (Building Research Institute) and representatives of companies from the construction sector.

The meeting included discussions on problems with interpretation of the scope of application and performance and with the procedure of assessment and verification of constancy of performance in selected harmonized standards developed by CEN/TC 254 and CENT/TC 189.

As a big Polish producer of different kinds of insulation foils, we are glad that we had the opportunity to actively participate in discussions on standardization of production and placing products from the construction sector on the market.
